Pink

Pink is an ongoing research on materiality as well as on hybridation of sculpture
and drawing. The borders between the mediums, textures and translucency are the
main exploratory aspects of it, whereas its fragility is entirely part of it, as
it slowly desintegrates and collaps.
The texture and the title refers to flesh, Pink like an erotic body and a universal
bodily feeling outpacing the feminine stereotypes of the colour. It is linked
to two different texts: Flesh of my Flesh by Kaja Silverman and Mike Kelly’s text
about Paul Thek work and his use of the pink colour.
